Activated Charcoal
A familiar ingredient used to absorb excess oil and remove impurities from the skin, keeping your skin clean. This enhances the function of the other ingredients in our formulas.
Arrowroot
Made from the root of the arrowroot plant, this is a natural food-grade ingredient commonly used as a thickener. It has powerful moisture absorbing properties and also helps to kill fungi, yeast, and bacteria.
Candelilla Wax
The vegan alternative to beeswax. This plant wax is derived from the candelilla shrub. This hardens our formulas and provides a nice, even glide when applied to the skin.
Cocoa Butter
Smells just like chocolate! Its full of antioxidants and protects your skin from free-radical damage. A powerful moisturiser and is great for sensitive skin. A nice addition to our formulas to keep the skin looking young!
Triethyl Citrate
Derived from natural citric acid. Powerfully combined with zinc ricinoleate to help prevent bacteria from causing a bad smell. It is gentle for the skin making it perfect for anyone with sensitive armpits.
Essential Oils
We always choose organic where possible. We have taken the effort to ensure that we do not use any plant or tree endangered according to the IUCN red list. Special blending techniques allow a slow fragrance release intended to last many hours.
MCT
Fractionated Coconut Oil nourishes and moisturises the skin with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It stays in liquid form even if you put it in the fridge. This makes our formulated textures stable.
Shea Butter
Well known for its moisturising and nourishing properties due to its high concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids. Shea butter provides a great structure and texture for our deodorants.
Sunflower Oil
A lovely oil to include in our formulas as it absorbs well into the skin and it will not clog pores. Its vitamin E content demonstrates its antioxidant activity and helps to maintain the skin's natural barrier. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Vitamin E
We use a naturally derived source of Vitamin E from non-genetically modified soy-beans. A small amount is used in our formulas as a natural preservative. It is a powerful antioxidant and is a natural anti-inflammatory.
Zinc Ricinoleate
Derived from castor beans, zinc is used in formulas for those who have extra-sensitive skin. It has a powerful ability to trap and neutralise odours in such a way that they are no longer perceivable.
Sodium Bicarbonate
A powerful odour inhibitor and antibacterial agent. It has the ability to neutralise the acid in sweat due to its high alkalinity. Since everyone's chemistry is unique, sodium bicarbonate will work when zinc and triethyl citrate don't.
